It's been over a year, and both sides of the island have survived the fucking tsunami and rebuilt our villages. Both are coming back from the storm. And both are going to kick ass better than ever - if we can just do some promotion. Ads for writers on other sites, news items and interviews in papers. Anyway, point is, fork is now seen as the f- word over at the spork (and I call both sites sporks now. Anyone have a better name? Spork Island. We do have to name the island something, kind of like North and South Korea - guess which one we are here, ha! - but with a fun twist. Then we can promote the hell out of it. How about Uncy Island? I always use uncy because it's the least amount of letters to type in a search engine and have uncyclopedia.wikia pop in. From there I then transverse the island. Haven't seen a fork yet). Uncyclopedia.co may be a very good site (and I know it is), but it started as a fork. And so there is no reason to call it spork or knife, or anything. Maybe the f- site? Anton (talk) 15:54, January 12, 2014 (UTC)

And then there comes the question: If we ban the word "fork" what do I call certain items of my cutlery collection?

Spoons came before forks. The first recorded instance of a fork (made of silver no less) in England was that possessed by Piers Gaveston, lover of King Edward II.
